Biosample Resources and Repositories for Aging Biologists

Thursday, October 17 from 3-4pm ET

The Nathan Shock Centers Coordinating Center (NSC3) aims to connect researchers in aging biology with resources that support their work. In an effort to meet this goal, the NSC3 will host a webinar on Biosample Resources and Repositories on Thursday, October 17 at 3pm ET. This webinar will give a brief overview of some aging biology resources from the National Institute on Aging (NIA) and the Nathan Shock Centers, including:

  • NIA Nonhuman Primate Core
  • NIA Intervention Testing Program tissue repository
  • NIA CR and Aging Tissue Repository
  • San Diego Nathan Shock Center’s cell model resource

The goals of the webinar include:

  • Provide an overview of some NIA and NSC biosample resources and repositories
  • Share information on how to qualify for and access the resources

The presentations will be followed by a Q&A with the audience.
